Community Development Partners and Perlman Architects recently celebrated the opening of our newest affordable multi-family housing project with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Located in downtown Mesa at 719 E. Main, El Rancho del Arte is a mixed use development that ties in 66 residential units with community spaces that include playgrounds, media rooms, community centers, barbeque areas, a series of community garden boxes, and a pool. These spaces, along with a number of other community oriented programs like adult educational programs and after school programs, will help to create a strong sense... Read The Rest →
On May 27th, 2015, Perlman Architects proudly joined the City of Mesa and Mesa Fire and Medical Department in breaking ground for the new Fire and Medical Station No. 203.
Buckeye Valley Fire Station has received the 2014 FIREHOUSE Magazine Career Gold Award. This marks the 3rd award for this station (2011 Light Commercial 2nd Runner Up, ICF Builder Magazine & 2011 Station Style Award)
The project consists of 70 units of affordable family residential units in 4 stories over a concrete podium parking structure. The podium contains 5,600 s.f. of community center services fronting McKinley and Leasing Office fronting 2nd Ave. The remaining ground floor consists of 79 parking spaces accessed from the alley. The four floors of residential units are built around a central courtyard and provide a variety of unit types to accommodate individuals and families. The project is located on an urban infill site and mends some of the tears in the existing city fabric.
It’s official; Buckeye Fire House 3 has been awarded LEED Gold certification. Individuals from the fire department, Perlman, FCI Constructors, Quest Energy, AME, TMCx Solutions, Akribis (and others) put in many hours on the LEED documentation with great results. One remarkable accomplishment is that the construction documentation sailed through the review process with no clarifications or final review needed.
