La Esperanza Terrace is a new 96-unit, affordable rental housing development in West Phoenix. Built on land formerly used for an Isaac School District-owned preschool, La Esperanza Terrace is the first affordable housing project to be financed by the School District Surplus Land Initiative.

The development features 96 one-to-three-bedroom rental units serving individuals and families earning at or below 60% of the area median income. Units range in size from 658 to 1,242 square feet and feature a range, refrigerator, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, A/C, window coverings, and in-unit washer and dryer. Community amenities include a BBQ area, community room, picnic area with tables, computer lab, fitness center, community garden, tot lot/playground, bike rings, carport spaces, and security cameras to help ensure the community’s safety.
